Updating My WebSite

So I updated my Website, because frankly, I was bored with the old look.

Here's the old site:

The Old look of my site was a bit more whimsical, colorful and childlike. I enjoyed that it was fun too. But it was overly complicated.

The site was flash based and most platforms didn't' support that version of site anymore.

Now Its not the first time I've changed my site, possibly the third or fourth. But regardless I turned to html5. The site from 2015 to 2016 was all over the place. I remember having all these insane gallery combinations, The site could barely even load.

So for any artists, photographer or creative people out there, just try to keep it simple if you are developing a portfolio site. Less is more in this case. Don't bombard the viewer with over worked pages because the content won't load. I am a cursed with over doing it sometimes and I have to tell myself to pull it back a couple of notches.

Ultimately for 2017 I went with a more subtle look; a mesh of illustration and photography. Most of my internal pages are black and white. The hints of color are from my work. Which is all formatted and orderly. Occasionally I do get off track and I may have more menus than I need but hey, if it's not broke don't fix it.
